BCBA & BCaBA · 2027 and 2022 requirements

2,000 hours.
Zero paperwork panic.

Every session logged in seconds. Every BACB rule checked while you work. And when the month ends, the genuine BACB verification form comes back filled in, signed, and ready to hand over. You do the fieldwork — Illy does the math.

BCBA and BCaBAall 8 pathways, every figure verified against the BACB's own tables

Three jobs. All handled.

Getting hours in, staying compliant, and surviving the paperwork.

01

Hours in, instantly

Start time, end time, done

The hours compute themselves — type, activity, supervisor, organization and client-observation minutes all on one card.

A month in minutes, not evenings

Repeat one entry across a date range, fill a whole grid at once, or import the spreadsheet you already keep. Backlogs die here.

Log it from the parking lot

Full app on your phone — add it to your home screen and the session is logged before you've left the driveway.

02

Compliance that watches itself

Every BACB rule, checked live

Supervision percentage, 60% unrestricted, individual vs group, observation minutes, monthly caps — flagged the moment one slips, not at submission time.

Old rules, new rules, both

Fieldwork spanning the 2027 change? Set the standard month by month and every check follows the rules that applied at the time.

Month by month, minute by minute

Each month broken out by type and activity — including exactly how many minutes you were supervised with a client present.

03

Paperwork that does itself

Signed without the scanner

Generate the form, sign as trainee, send it. Your supervisor reviews and signs back in the app — hours frozen at signature so nothing drifts.

Supervision, structured

Requirements, dated assignments, submission and review, meeting notes you both keep — the whole supervisory relationship in one place.

Ask Illy

"How am I doing?" "What's due?" "Am I compliant?" — answered from your real numbers, not a help page.

THE REASON PEOPLE SWITCH

The form you download
IS the BACB form.

Not a lookalike. Not an export that "matches". The genuine BACB PDF with your logged hours written into its real fields — hh/mm for 2027, decimals for 2022, checkboxes ticked, percentages computed, signatures stamped.

How it actually works

From your first logged session to a signed Final Verification Form — the whole loop.

01

Connect the two of you

Whoever moves first, moves. A supervisor invites a trainee, or a trainee invites their supervisor — either way it's sent to a Google address and claimed only by the person who signs in with it, so the link is verified, not typed.

  • No account yet? The invite creates one with the right role attached.
  • Onboarding collects exactly what the BACB forms need — name, BACB ID, standard, fieldwork type, state, country.
  • Add extra supervisors and organizations any time; entries attribute to whichever applies.
02

Get the hours in — however they exist today

Most trainees already track hours somewhere: a spreadsheet, the Notes app, a group chat. You don't have to start over.

  • Log one session: start and end times, hours compute themselves; tag type, activity, supervisor, organization, and client-observation minutes.
  • Repeat: copy an entry across a date range on chosen weekdays, skipping dates you already logged.
  • Quick Add grid: type a whole month at once, or auto-fill every weekday.
  • Import a spreadsheet: columns are detected automatically — headers can be anywhere, junk rows are dropped.
  • Paste anything: messy lines from anywhere. "Tue July 8th — 4h 30m unrestricted" becomes a real entry, times, type and setting included.
03

Compliance checks itself, month by month

Every entry re-runs the BACB rules that applied to that month — which matters when your fieldwork straddles the 2027 change.

  • Supervision percentage, 60% unrestricted, individual vs group, observation minutes with a client present, monthly hour caps.
  • BCBA or BCaBA — the hour target, supervision percentage and unrestricted floor all change with your credential (BCaBA needs 40% unrestricted, not 60%).
  • Set 2027 or 2022 rules, and supervised or concentrated, per month — every total follows suit.
  • The month-by-month table shows each month judged against its own rule set, not an average.
  • Ask Illy "am I compliant?" and he reads your real numbers back to you.
04

Supervision, documented as it happens

The parts that normally live in email and get lost before you need them.

  • Supervisors set recurring requirements and dated assignments — to one trainee or all at once.
  • Trainees submit work; supervisors approve or request changes with feedback.
  • Meeting notes record date, time, format and what was covered — both sides keep a permanent copy.
  • Meetings with Google Meet links, open to the group or invite-only; shared resource folders for templates and reading.
05

The form fills itself — and gets signed

This is the part that makes people switch.

  • Pick which of the 8 official BACB forms you need; your hours are written into the real PDF fields.
  • 2027 forms report hh/mm and observation time; 2022 forms use decimals with the fieldwork-type and prorated boxes ticked.
  • Final forms split Supervised and Concentrated into separate columns and count the months in each.
  • Sign as trainee, send it over, supervisor signs back. The hours freeze at generation — a signature can never drift from the data behind it.
  • We warn you before the BACB signing deadline passes, not after.
06

Keep the record — it's yours

Everything is retained for the seven years the BACB expects, and nothing is locked in.

  • Export hours as CSV, everything as JSON, every form as a PDF, any time.
  • Supervisors keep their signed copies; trainees keep theirs.
  • Works on your phone — add it to your home screen and log a session from the car.

Spreadsheets were fine. Until month 14.

Why a chameleon?

Illy is a chameleon because chameleons don't change colour to hide — they change to communicate and adapt, exactly what a growing clinician learns to do. His eyes move independently, always observing, because careful observation is the heart of behavior analysis. He climbs slowly, one deliberate step at a time, the way 2,000 hours accumulate. And with tong-like feet and an anchoring tail, he never loses his grip — a reminder that steady support carries you the whole way up.

Eyes Everywhere, Always Observing

A chameleon's eyes rotate independently in scaly turrets, giving it close to 360-degree coverage of its surroundings.

That is the observer's craft a future BCBA builds — direct observation, operational definitions, and interobserver agreement that keep your data honest.

Colour Means Communication

Chameleons change colour mainly to signal to other chameleons, regulate temperature, and express their state — not to disguise themselves.

Great clinicians adapt the same way: visibly and communicatively, tuning their approach to each situation without ever hiding who they are.

Built for Immediacy

The ballistic tongue reaches full extension in tens of milliseconds, often stretching beyond the chameleon's own body length.

Reinforcement immediacy runs on the same clock — a reinforcer delivered within seconds keeps the response–reinforcer contingency strong.

Slow Load, Powerful Release

The tongue works like a catapult: muscle slowly pre-loads elastic collagen sheaths, then recoil launches it faster than muscle alone ever could.

Your 2,000 supervised hours load the same way — patient monthly accumulation that releases as real competence on exam day.

One Deliberate Step

Chameleons climb hand over hand, slowly and deliberately, often swaying like a leaf moving in the breeze.

Shaping works the same way — complex clinical skills are built through successive approximations, one reinforced step closer at a time.

Tuned to the Individual

Smith's dwarf chameleons adjust their colour match to the specific predator watching — one match for bird vision, another for snake vision.

That is individualization: no protocol transfers unmodified between learners, so every intervention starts from that client's own assessment.

Questions

Does this replace the official BACB forms?

No — it fills them. You download the genuine BACB PDF with your hours already in the right fields.

What if my fieldwork started under the old requirements?

Set the standard and fieldwork type month by month. Every calculation and every form follows the rules that applied at the time.

How do I sign up?

Your supervisor creates your account and invites you, then you sign in with that Google address. It keeps the supervisor–trainee link intact for verification.

Can I get my data out?

Any time. Export your hours as CSV, everything as JSON, and every form as a PDF.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Open it in your browser and add it to your home screen.

Stop dreading the paperwork.

Join the fieldwork trainees who let the tracker do the compliance maths.

Already invited by your supervisor? This is the door.

How it works

Go to Import and upload your file. That's it — the system automatically:

  • Finds your header row (even if it's not on row 1)
  • Matches columns to the right fields (dates, hours, type, activity, etc.)
  • Calculates hours from Start/End times if there's no Hours column
